IAN MAWDSLEY is a professionally qualified business and management consultant who has undergone extensive management training whilst working as a senior manager for some of the major companies in the UK. These companies include BICC, Unilever and United Biscuits. In comparison he has managed his own business employing 20 staff and has faced all the problems experienced by a small, expanding business. Because of his grass roots experience Ian takes a practical, no-nonsense approach to business problems, with profit always at the forefront of his mind. Ian started his working career as an engineering apprentice, and has come up through the 'mill' gathering experience along the way in manufacturing, project management, management development and marketing. He has worked in food manufacturing and engineering contracting as a Design and Project Engineer, Works Engineer, Works Manager, Marketing Manager, Management Development Advisor and Managing Director.
