As you can see from the picture to the right, it would be difficult to describe myself as a fresh faced newly qualified graduate. It would more likely to be as one who is seen as chronologically experienced!
I was born in Barnsley and schooled in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I was a student in both Staffordshire and Sheffield where I obtained a Master's Degree in Organisational Development. The core of this degree could be classed as applied social psychology which enabled me to help others in their own personal development as well as managing work relationships, either formal or otherwise.
After two years working and living in Turkey I joined the NHS as a Behavioural Scientist where I designed and ran personal awareness programmes courses and acted as a resource to management and nursing staff on people/relationship issues. This was followed with a post at Swansea Metropolitan University as a senior lecturer/consultant in organisational management.
