We work closely with the system companies at Schuco and Metal Technology to make sure we have good product knowledge and ensure our solution works first time. HW Architectural started life Helliwell Patent Glazing who moved to our current site in Brighouse in 1880. In the 1940's, Landing craft were constructed in the boat yard area of our factory to aid the war effort. In 1959, Helliwell merges with WH Heywoods to create Heywood Patent Glazing. 1981 saw Heywood Doors & Shopfronts move to our Brighouse site with Heywood Patent Glazing renamed as Heywood Glazing Systems within a couple of years. All of the above goes into everything we do, with over 130 years’ experience we are now the leading name in architectural aluminum.
