Hunt & Hunt was first established as early as 1794 in the then rural market town of Romford, Essex. In 1856 Alfred Hunt joined the firm and the long connection with the Hunt family has succeeded to this day with consultant John Hunt being the great grandson of Alfred Hunt.

Since establishing itself in Romford it is fair to say that the town has developed and with that the firm of Hunt and Hunt has adapted. Over 200 years we have seen our clients vary from agricultural land owners and businesses to residents and businesses of a large London suburban town.

In May 2014 Hunt & Hunt announced the conversion of the partnership from Hunt & Hunt to Hunt & Hunt LLP. Our conversion reflects the changing structure of the legal profession whilst we continue to offer our clients high quality legal services tailored to their needs.
