After studying at Swansea University, I trained as a ceramic artist at the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company quickly becoming one of their leading painters. A freelance career, though was inevitable and in 1980 I left Royal Worcester to embark on a successful career as a full time artist. Since then Christopher Hughes original watercolours, oil paintings and ceramics can be found in collections wordwide. I have always enjoyed helping others to improve their painting techniques and hold workshops and painting courses in the UK during the winter months.
