I am Alison Rodwell. I live in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire. My passion is photography. My love affair with the camera began in my teens with my Konica Pop, progressing to the purchase of my first second-hand SLR at University where I studied photography and the role it plays within the media as part of my BA degree. I have worked with large and medium format film cameras, especially for portraiture, and have worked in dark rooms both at work and home. Today my images are digital.

I own a Canon 5D Mark 2 and use several software packages to produce and print my photographs.
It would be difficult to label my images as one particular genre. They are somewhat eclectic. I enjoy portraiture, particularly where the subject is in their own environment doing whatever they enjoy. I also enjoy landscape, street and pet photography. Whenever possible I do like to give my images a slight 'edge' or 'quirkiness' which hopefully sets my photography apart from the mainstream.
