His 25 years of clinical experience in the field of musculoskeletal medicine are punctuated with further qualifications including a PhD and independent prescribing rights. He has worked at the Homerton for the last 20 years in addition to teaching commitments at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Canterbury University and the University of East London.

Peter leads the NHS Sports and Musculoskeletal Clinic at the Homerton and teaching for the Specialist Sports & Exercise Medicine Registrars at the Homerton University Hospital. These are regional clinics attended by patients who are referred from all over the South East region. These clinics are centres for education and learning and routinely attended by a variety of both Allied Health Professionals and Medical staff from other specialities.
