In many respects Hine Downing is a traditional Cornwall law firm. It is a symbol of continuity — and the solicitors who practice here are proud of that fact. However, as a progressive, forward-thinking legal firm, we are also constantly seeking to improve. Hine Downing was created when two long-established legal practices agreed that, in an increasingly complex and fast-changing world, they should join forces to offer a broader range of services under one roof. We now have seven partners and six main departments specialising in commercial law, civil litigation, family law, probate, wills and trusts, residential property, and elder client services. Elder client services is a unique concept to us which combines legal and welfare support and it is a good example of our innovative and responsive thinking when it comes to delivering legal services in this modern and changing world.
