Hilltop Studio

Hilltop Studio is set high in the hills above Wendover Woods in St Leonards, which is one of the Hilltop Villages. You will find us situated next to the village church, in the front garden of what used to be the rectory. The studio is well sign posted when we are open and visitors can usually find somewhere to park, but are also welcome to park at the church.

Judy is a versatile artisan. She is a very keen silversmith, with her own hall mark, who loves creating original pieces of jewellery from Sterling Silver. She designs rings, pendants, bracelets and ear rings and often incorporates gem stones in her work. She is always ready to take on commissions for that special occasion. Judy is also a painter who, using either watercolour or acrylic, produces vibrant pictures in which colour and form work together in a semi figurative way.

You may have seen her work in a local gallery in Wendover. Mary is a silversmith who works mainly with recycled silver. She calls herself Magpie Mary because she is always on the look out for a shiny spoon or pair of sugar tongs to turn into a fun piece of jewellery. These make ideal gifts for birth, christenings and special birthdays for that important young lady in your life. Mary also paints in a variety of styles using watercolour, acrylic or mixed media.
