Last year they expanded even further to offer a taxis in Durham and the surrounding areas. From humble beginnings of just two vans in the Durham area back in 2000 the business has grown from strength the strength. In 2009 Hilltop Hire moved to much larger premises at Front Street Sherburn after having invested in a much larger fleet of Vans & Mini Buses for Hire. Their van and minibus hire serves the community of Durham and the surrounding areas such as Chester le Street, Washington, Sunderland, Spennymoor, Consett and Stanley.

Today Hilltops business has grown to now have a huge fleet of 40 Vans and Mini Buses for Hire in the Durham & the surrounding areas. We wanted to attract a much bigger market for Self Drive Van and Mini Bus Hire in the Durham area and they have won many big contracts, one which is for Durham University. Hilltop Hire are the sole supplier to Durham University for Van Hire and Mini Bus hire in the area.
