Welcome to Hilda's, we are a small family run florist based in Tonypandy in the heart of the Rhondda valleys, trading since 1973 and pride ourselfs on good old fashioned service and value for money. If you have any queries please give us a ring 9 to 5 Monday to Saturday.
Established on the 16th of April 1973 by my grandmother Hilda Power and Lynette Bull. Hilda's started its humble beginings but soon went from strength to strenght in the busy principal town of the Rhondda which already had four florist shops at that point.
In 1989 i (Criag) joined the five staff working at Hilda's and started my three year floristry course at Pencoed collage, a little daunting given i was the only boy amongst thirty of the oppisite sex. Three years on i qualified with a distinction along with two others from my year.
Twenty three years on i now run Hilda's with the help of Lyn who has now been with us for 39 years. The shop has recently been renovated to bring us into the twenty first century.
