Hereford Pension, Investment & Mortgage Centre LLP was originally established in 1998, with the current legal structure since 2004. We have continued to embrace change, to provide solutions for our clients (both individual and corporate) and to build long lasting relationships in order to assist our clients to meet their goals.Within the firm we have 8 advisers and 2 trainee advisers. The partners of the firm are Alistair Fitt, Ian Jordan (Chartered Financial Planner), Bryan Pedersen and Ian Singleton and all of which are supported by our admin team. Our expertise covers the expanse of financial services including Discretionary Management (R01 & J10), Pension Transfer Specialists & Occupational Pension Transfers (AF3 & G60), Investment Management, Equity Release and Long Term Care.With the advent of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR from the 1st January 2013), we elected to move to a ‘Restricted Advice’ model covering specific areas of expertise (from which we view the whole of market) and exclude advice on certain products (e.g. Structured Products). Our rationale was that the products excluded are extremely unlikely to be required by our ‘typical’ investor. The costs and time required of maintaining appropriate knowledge and information on each product, in addition to the compliance and supervisory costs, were deemed non-commercial for our business and this decision was therefore concluded to be more profitable for our existing clients.
