Harrison Coward

In the late 1920s the parent company purchased Messrs Alfred Coward and Sons and thereby expanded their expertise into the land agency and rural property sphere. In 1935 a further expansion took place with the acquisition of Messrs F J Harrison & Sons who specialised in urban properties and specialist antique furniture sales. In 1975 these two companies amalgamated into Harrison Coward with the result that their joint client base was able to benefit from the wealth of expertise and experience gained in 133 years of dealing with urban and rural property and estate management. The whole company is now under the guidance of Mr Ian Walker FRICS, FLAA, a chartered Surveyor and Auctioneer with some 42 years of experience in all aspects of land and estate agency matters contactable on 07971 162 804. Ian Walker is currently assisted by Mrs Susan Evans BA MSc MNAEA who has joined the company as Trainee Surveyor. The management are ably assisted by Mrs Claire Shuttleworth, Mrs Rosemary Walker, Mrs Nancy Cowsill and Mrs Elizabeth Carr who deal with market appraisals, residential lettings and customer care. Mrs Janet Grisdale heads the Accounts Department.
