Happy Pets Veterinary Surgery

A friendly and professional veterinary practice located in Polwarth, just south of Edinburgh City Centre. Our friendly and dedicated staff consists of two veterinary surgeons, one nurse and three part-time receptionists. We believe in personalised care, not only for pets, but also for their owners. Our practice offers a variety of services to ensure the highest level of care for the pets of Edinburgh.

Originally from Alaska, Lindsay first received a Bachelor's degree in biology at Oregon State University before moving to Edinburgh in 2006. She qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2010, has worked at Happy Pets since February 2011 and is now our principal veterinary surgeon. She has a special interest in ophthalmology, and particularly enjoys small animal surgery. Outside work Lindsay enjoys travelling, horse riding, cycling, and camping (when the weather's nice!). Esther is our part-time vet who you will often see filling in at Happy Pets. She graduated in 2005 from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and has a wealth of experience in both small and large animal clinical work. Esther is highly qualified in emergency medicine and particularly enjoys small animal surgery. Outside of work, Esther enjoys cooking, cycling, exploring Scotland's great outdoors and photography. She is super crafty and makes delicious homemade wine and champagne.
