Broadstairs is a wonderful place to visit - whatever the season, and where better to stay than this small, friendly, licensed, family run guesthouse? The Hanson is centrally situated, just off the High Street of Broadstairs, so easily accessible to the town, the beach and the many independent retailers, cafes and restaurants. This wonderful Georgian building was built in 1800 for the tenth Earl of Dundonald, Lord Cochrane - a contemporary of Lord Nelson.

Steeped in history, yet with a present day level of service, we offer a relaxed atmosphere and an enjoyable stay for all ages. Open all year for weekly, weekend or overnight stays, we provide comfortable, cosy, accommodation (including a ground floor room) and serve a traditional English breakfast or, if you prefer, you can choose our half board option.
