I am now a proud member of BANPAS (Baby and Newborn Photography Association). BANPAS are passionate about newborn safety so it is great to be part of this organisation. I have always taken a keen interest in photography so it seemed a natural step to study it at A Level, which I did in 2008. The first year was predominantly learning about shooting with film, and processing images in a dark room. In my second year I ventured into digital photography and bought my first DSLR camera, a Canon 30D.
I was taught the basics of the editing software - Adobe Photoshop and I just kept wanting to learn! In 2009, I started working on an ad-hoc basis for a family friend who had his own photography business. I gained so much experience and confidence working alongside him shooting weddings, and I loved every minute of it! September 2010 a colleague from work and myself formed our own business 'Pear Photography'.
