I strongly believe that bikes which are used mainly on road or light trails should be appropriate for such use, therefore I always supply adult bikes with semi slick tyres as standard, and avoid suspension systems - this makes for faster easier cycling on roads and light trails.
Currently I am developing a range of low cost emphatically lightweight custom design alloy / carbon bikes for road and off road use. Due to pressure of work however the website is a little out of date.
