Hall Green Piano

I currently hold Grade 8 (Distinction) Classical Piano and DipLCM(TD) which is a diploma from the London College of Music in piano teaching. I have learnt piano as an adult (in my 30s), but have been involved with music for 25 years. I learnt clarinet at school and played with a local wind band and also a swing jazz band as well playing in the orchestra for local amateur dramatics productions.

For fun I am currently learning the flute as I would like to get back into playing woodwind. I recently passed Grade 6 and would like to teach the instrument in the furture. I also enjoy singing. I have sung and written music as part of a local electro-pop group for many years and also currently sing with Hall Green Choral Society, Shirley Fellowship Singers and Musicians in Harmony. I am originally from Heywood in Lancashire and came to Birmingham in 1993 to study Physics at Birmingham University.
