It's creative force is Paul Smith who has been hairdressing since the mid-nineties. Paul spent 13 years working for the renowned global hairdressing company Toni and Guy learning and perfecting his trade. Paul started out in Plymouth, moving to Knightsbridge and finally settling in Brighton.

After many years of managing Essentials (Toni and Guy), numerous photo shoots and fashion shows and undertaking advanced training, Paul worked for five years in local salons. Paul decided that he wanted to utilise everything he had learned by establishing his own salon in Portland Road, Hove.

Paul has a keen eye for detail. His love and respect for commercial and advanced techniques within the salon have enabled him to create high-end hair cuts without high-end price tags and has built up a loyal clientèle over the years.
