The buying and selling of a property can be a stressful experience. If not, you will die intestate and it does not follow that all of your assets will pass to your surviving spouse. If you are not married, your partner may not be entitled to anything.

In a Will you can make provision for guardians for young children, reduce any inheritance tax liability, set up trusts etc. We would recommend that all adults make a Will to ensure that their assets pass to those persons they wish to inherit them and ensure that loved ones do not suffer any significant financial hardship arising out of the intestacy rules.
