The company was founded in 1978 and was one of the first independent golf high street retail outlet in the North West of England. A family business which grew from strength to strength, realising that golf was not just a sport for the privileged during the late 1970s and through the 1980s. In 1984 the site of the business changed due to the growth of the golf retail business which saw Greg Nicholson Golf at the forefront, stocking all the latest equipment & clothing that golf had to offer.

New lines and services have been added over the years to include custom fit, club repairs, and a good selection of demo clubs aswell as a comprehensive clothing range.
