The inspiration came from my grandmother, Grace Gentle, an elegant lady who had an amazing impact on my life. Now sadly passed away, her name will live on in this company dedicated to her, and the wonderful memories she gave me of a warm, loving and beautiful home I used to visit often.
As her only grand-daughter, and a single mother to three children, who are now growing up, and getting ready to "flee the nest", my thoughts turned to my own childhood and the times I spent marvelling at the beautiful home my grandmother created, and my own passion for interior design.
And then one evening, over the kitchen table, I got this amazing idea, what if I could bring something together that I love, with something we all need - home accessories and gifts. That was when Gracegentle Ltd was launched.
