She was impressed with his behavior and decided to stay with him forever. She was forced by many to go back to her kingdom which made her leave the place with tears in her eyes. Pleased to see her love for him, Bihari Ji followed her. People started looking for him here and there in his temple home which was established by Swami Haridas, the Tansen’s guru. The search for him came to an end when he was found with the princess in her palace. This time, he was brought back to his temple home in Vrindavan. During his stay at the princess’s home, he was badly missed by all his devotees. It was that day when a parda or curtain was pulled in between the devotees and the God so that because of the devotion and love of the bhaktas, Banke Bihari won’t have to follow the devotee to his or her home. The parda or the curtain was the security measure. The pujaris used to regulate the curtain from beforehand to ward off the evil from the little Krishna or Banke Bihari Ji. Raas Utsav:– It is celebrated on the eve of the union with the Lord. This time the devotee sneaked behind the Lord and found him going towards Nidhivan. After some time the sevak found him playing his flute and dancing with joy. Again at 4 am Banke Bihari returned back to his home temple. Now the sevak was very much aware that Thakurji goes to Nidhivan every night to spend time with his gopis. And when in the early morning the purohit came to the temple to wake him up, the sevak stopped him, saying that Banke Bihari Ji did not complete his sleep as he went to the excursion to Nidhivan at night. From then on, Mangla aarti was performed at 8:30 am every morning unlike before when it was performed early in the morning Nightout at Nidhivan:– There is a story behind this. He kept on thinking and waiting for the Lord to come back and at 4 am in the early morning he saw Thakurji was returning with flushed and sweaty face. Without saying anything, the sevak continued to do his duty. The next night he remained awaken and saw Thakurji leaving again at around 12 ‘O clock at midnight.
