Gloss photography UK, first started as an idea to bring London style contemporary photography to South Wales. On February 5th 2007 we opened our first High Street studio in Pentre, Rhondda Valleys. After a flying start to the business we were hit by the credit crunch and decided to close the studio and focus all our efforts on sustaining the web business. A year later the web business has become a success.

A year later the web business has become a success. With our easy to use website and online galleries, we have become a leading competitor as a wedding photographic business in South Wales. Gavin John (photographer) became interested in photography while attending Tonypandy Community College at the age of 12. In 2009 he became a member of the SWPP (society of wedding and portrait) and SIFGP (Society of International Fashion & Glamour). He has also achieved an SWPP, Gold award for his work.
