What can I say, printing is in the blood! My family have been involved in the print industry for over 50 years and given my keen eye for detail and passion for art it made perfect sense to marry the two and so. Ginger was born! Well, I've been working with print now for over 20 years and I have the grey hairs to prove it! All joking aside, I really enjoy working with print, there's something altogether satisfying when you see the end result exceed client's expectations. Well, technically 'Giclee' is another name for ink-jet; in the same way that 'Lingerie' is another name for underwear.
The finished print will only ever be as good as the digital image used. Which is why it is of paramount importance that the quality of the image capture be first rate. Here at Ginger we work with a Fuji Lanovia C-550 high definition scanner, which provides wonderful digital files capturing the tiniest details, and with Mikey's years of scanning experience we offer the best start to producing the perfect prints.
