Hi there, I'm George Pennock. I'm a wedding photographer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As a contemporary photographer I embrace both natural reportage and classical styles. Wedding photography is my passion and it’s always a pleasure to capture a couple’s special day. I’ve been a keen photographer since my childhood and it has remained one of my greatest passions. Growing up I was always the one taking the photos at birthday parties and during the holidays. I quickly realised the importance of the camera both as a fun tool to capture the moment and as a highly creative medium.

After graduating from Art College I worked for several years in the advertising industry as a graphic designer. As a creative professional I also taught multimedia design and Photoshop. Having a good eye for detail and composition helped develop my creativity and my love of photography.

As a contemporary photographer I embrace both natural reportage and classical styles. I’m creative with colour and black & white imagery with high contrast tones. Wedding photography is my passion and it’s always a pleasure to capture a couple’s special day. I incorporate my love for portraiture and landscape imagery utilising light, texture and mood to tell my photo stories.

When not photoing I enjoy art, cinema, music and of course travelling. At home in Northern Ireland it’s great to jump in the car and explore our amazing countryside and natural history. I love nothing more than spending time with my daughter in sunny California, relaxing at the beach and hanging out in LA. I’ve also enjoyed working with actors and models in California. My photos have featured in local magazines and publications both here in the UK and USA.

I’m professional, fun and easy to work with, appreciating the importance of building rapport with my customers. The couples who work with me regard photography as one of the most important elements of their wedding day. I take great satisfaction in presenting quality images for them to treasure for many years to come.
