Gentleman & A Van

Mark Godman set up Gentleman & A Van in 2004 after a terrible experience moving flats in London. Despite using one of the market leading removals companies at the time, he was left feeling dissatisfied and it got him thinking that there must be a better way to help Londoners move home. The vision was to build a removal business that would treat your home and possessions as if they were their own. As a Gentleman would, hence ‘Gentleman & A Van’ was born. The company has grown from strength to strength over the last thirteen years. That’s because our clients value our service and use us time and time again. James Nash joined Mark the following January and together they have grown the business from a single van to a fleet of sixteen removal vans, two lorries and a 35,000 sq ft self storage facility in Wimbledon. We now have a dedicated team of 30 full time employees and to date we have completed over 50,000 moves all over London and the UK.
