First and foremost I am a wedding photographer and although I do loads of commercial photography my real passion lies with being part of someones special day. I love the ability of telling stories with pictures, loads of my style is very reportage but there are parts of a wedding day that need to be posed and in my opinion there are loads of ways of setting up a photograph, my favourite is to make the shot look as unposed as possible, I tell my couples to get lost in their own little moment whilst I capture the intimacy between them, this always yields great results! In the 13 years that I have been shooting weddings I have yet to hear the words ‘I love having my photo taken!’ I do my best to make my clients feel at ease and I think that a great way to let your guard down is to meet at least once before the big day, either during a pre wedding consultation or an official engagement shoot.
