Through the years, because of this, we have completed many diverse and exciting framing projects for collectors, artists, galleries and museums. We treat every framing job as special: a snapshot, a postcard, a medal or a sketch are all worthy. Small textiles may seem humble compared to large oils, but may have taken much more time to create. Framing is an art form in presentation, but is also a skill: it is about preservation, knowledge of materials and careful handling, all learnt over years of experience.
We do gilding and frame restoration, provide a picture conservation service, picture installation services, and all our framing is carried out on site in our own workshop in St Thomas Street, in the heart of Newcastle.
