G.Moore & Co was established in 1967 by Mr Geoff Moore. Originally based on Main Street in Haworth, Geoff worked alongside his wife Madge Moore, and son Jason Moore, offering personal, friendly advice for the local community’s insurance requirements. Since 1967 Geoff and family built up the reputation of the business and also maintained the excellent levels of service offered since day one.
In September 2000 G.Moore & Co took the decision to move premises to the nearby village of Cross Roads, this move enabled much improved parking facilities. This move also paved the way for the introduction of Mr Ian Thornber who joined the company as a partner.
As Geoff began to take a back seat in the business G.Moore & Co decided to employ Mr Scott Wilkins to help with the day to day running of the business. It was with great sadness that Geoff passed away on 26 December 2003, he built up a thriving business over 37 very successful years.
The two remaining partners, Mr Jason Moore and Mr Ian Thornber will look to carry on in Geoff’s footsteps and continue the family business long into the future.
