Franziska, the practice principle, is a registered architect with ARB, registration number 078164I, and a chartered member of the RIBA. She is particularly skilled in residential work and the combination and integration of historic fabric and modern interventions. Throughout her career to date she has gained extensive experience in the repair, conversion and extension of a wide range of buildings, including listed properties.
She is highly enthusiastic about sustainable development and building, considering it of vital importance to include low-tech design solutions as well as modern technology. She is interested in modern and traditional building techniques and in advising property owners on cost-efficient options to improve the energy performance and running cost of their buildings. She is also highly skilled in computer aided design.
She has trained in Plymouth and Nottingham, and has previously worked for a variety of practices across England and the South-West.
