Accountant and Entrepreneur Simon Cox FCCA formed Forbes Watson after 15 years working in various Accountancy Practices throughout the North West. Simon has worked alongside some great Senior Partners who have acted as mentor to Simon throughout his career. He also has the advantage of working closely with a wide range of clients throughout the UK and has been fortunate to see some of the UK’s best entrepreneurs and business leaders in action. In order to truly understand the needs and wants of the modern day business owner it is important to be a business owner yourself, experience success , to have made mistakes and learn from them. Simon has indeed made mistakes, and whilst setting up his first business as a young green 20 something Simon signed a 20-year lease on a shop, without taking any advice whatsoever, thinking he knew best.
