Our principal, Stuart Palmer studied at Sheffield University before going into London to work at highly regarded practices such as Building Design Partnership and Norman Foster & Partners on prestigious projects such as Heathrow Terminal 5 before setting up Fod Architects in early 2003. He has a wealth of experience with a huge variety of projects from porches to bespoke new builds working in conservation areas and with listed buildings. In the current economic climate more of our clients are staying put and moving less frequently which means we are helping a lot more with makeovers / redesigning of internal space / utilising loft space/ creating open plan living to fully utilise what they currently have within their property, its amazing what a fresh pair of eyes can see when they walk around a property.
