My name is Elaine Watt and I am a BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) Accredited Counsellor. I work within the BACP ethical framework and uphold the BACP's complaints procedure. I have been a registered member of the BACP since 2003. I am a qualified lecturer and teach counselling skills to candidates wishing to embark on a counselling career or, who are interested in improving their listening skills and individual self awareness. I provide counselling to a wide variety of people, from adolescents to adults and couples.
I believe that individuals deserve acceptance and understanding. I believe that by speaking about things that we find difficult or painful in a safe, boundaried, and non judgemental environment we can gradually make sense of them and implement change. I will provide an impartial, non-judgmental environment where you can explore and express your thoughts and feelings.
