Having started out in floristry when I was 16 working as an apprentice to start with and going to college to get my NVQ level 2, I have also gone on to teach the NVQ apprenticeship, whilst still always working in a florist to keep up with changing trends and times. I was awarded a medal of excellence for my teaching services in the floristry sector and have recently been back to college to gain my level 3 and level 4 higher diploma in floristry, enabling me to create more unusual and diverse arrangements.
Having done all this I thought 2014 was my year to open up my own florist shop where I can put all I have learnt over the years into practice and chose Rochford as the place to do it.
