Although our practice is called Alternatives we practice Complementary Therapy. We advise all clients to consult their doctors, if necessary, and to inform them of any treatments they are receiving. We like to work alongside General Practitioners and several local GP's refer clients to some of our therapists, especially for Osteopathy and Podiatry. Due to the nature of some complementary therapies it is a fact that some described benefits cannot or have not been proven by a rigorous medical testing procedure as would be the case with licensed drugs.
