John Finch, The founder of John Finch Engineering, grew up with a spanner in his hand. Since the age of four he can recall helping out his father in his workshop. As he became more adept, he helped repair & service garden machinery at his fathers business in his school holidays & evenings. This gave him a very good basic knowledge of mechanics. When John was 16 yrs old, he could finally get on the road. His first bike was a Kawasaki AR50 of which he spent most of his time, making it go faster.
