Eyes Wide Open

Born in New Zealand I have lived and breathed art and photography throughout my life. I was selected to study photographic art at the prestigious Elam School of Fine Arts at The University of Auckland. During my four year degree I won numerous photographic awards. I graduated with the highest mark in my year earning a first class bachelor of fine arts. Since leaving university I have gained many years of experience in the creative industries building an extensive portfolio ranging from portrait and wedding photography to graphic design and commissioned artwork. I now live in Yorkshire, in the market town of Otley just outside Leeds.

The photographic industry is evolving rapidly and I think it is important to keep up to date with creative industry advances and standards, this is why I regularly attend training to develop my skills. I also teach an innovative and technologically advanced photographic and digital art programme to schools throughout Leeds.
