Exmouth Karate Academy was initially established way back in 1970. We successfully re launched the club in 2012 when Sensei Kevin Berry made the twice weekly commute from Mid Devon all the way to Exmouth. First being based in Exmouth Community College we have since found a home at The Cranford Sports Club which gives us a pleasant and professional venue to train in.

Along the way we have attracted old members of the original club who are keen to train alongside the more novice members and give their advice and experience. Sensei Kevin never ceases to promote the club and we are proud to have hosted the Devon Karate Championships twice now, attracting clubs from all across Devon and Somerset to compete in Kata and Kumite.
