Unlike most web developers, my background is in marketing so my instinct is always to build a website which is search engine friendly, whilst at the same time portraying a professional image. I also mainly work from home so I don't have the same overheads as that many other web developers have. This allows me to keep my prices as low as possible. Web site design has changed dramically over the past few years. More people now access the internet using mobile devices, such as smart phones and tablets, than desktop computers. All web sites should now be responsive to take to make sure your products and services are accessible to this audience. If your site is not responsive then you risk loosing out to your competitors.
