Walter G. Elms was established in 1890 and is now managed by Mr Kurt Boyer, only the Fourth Principal of the firm in over One hundred years. Mr Boyer has been with the firm for over Twenty years and is still guided by his former boss Mr Bernard Woolf who acts in the capacity of a consultant. Mr Bernhard Woolf first practised in Brixton in 1969, in the capacity of a consultant. I became the principal of Walter Elms at the age of twenty two in approximately July 1977, taking over from Mr B. Woolf the former principal.
Mr Woolf subsequently acquired the practice of Walter Inge Chartered Surveyors. The Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers amalgamated with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors on 1st January 2000. On that date I became a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. I have traded from these premises in Brixton continuously from 1977.1 have since my employment by Walter G. Elms dealt with the surveying of residential and commercial premises.
