EDS Network

EDS was founded by Alex Kelly who has been passionate about electrical and technical equipment from his early teens. Alex began his career as an IT technician at a state secondary school and sixth form in the Midlands. During this time he gained a number of professional qualifications including City and Guilds Level 2 in Communications Cabling as well as qualifications in security systems and data communication cabling. Alex is also a certified TDSi Installer, and is trained in all relevant health and safety areas.

The decision to create EDS grew from successful projects undertaken at the school Alex began his career at: restructuring the school data infrastructure into a faster, more manageable system that is easier to maintain. Projects also included upgrading the door entry systems to a more advanced yet intuitive system, and upgrading the CCTV systems to state of the art network solutions.
