All the vehicles used by Eden Taxis are modern, and can provide seating in the cars for up to eight passengers. The vehicles are maintained to a high standard, and are serviced regularly. The vehicles also go through an enhanced MOT every six months to ensure that all the vehicles continue to adhere to our high standards of safety.
All our vehicles and premises have a no smoking policy, in line with government legislation, meaning fresher smelling cars. We also have a no eating and drinking policy in the cars; this allows the cars to be fresher and tidier for the customer. We are happy to provide transport for four legged companions, as long as owners are well behaved, just let us know!! The administrative centre and waiting room of Eden Taxis is based in Friargate in Penrith and is manned by professional, friendly staff. This is open during the following times. Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, and Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm to 1am approximately. However, telephones are manned at other times. Working hours are as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to midnight. Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8am to approx. 4am and Sunday, 6pm to midnight.
