I’m madly in love with Caroline — it’s all true. We met in Edinburgh, Scotland in the summer of 1999 and married in her hometown of Hennebont, France four years later. The international love affair had stints in London, Paris and the home counties of England before we returned to sunny Northern Ireland. We now live just 20 minutes from Belfast on the County Antrim coast with our two beautiful little children, Corrina and Rubin.
After photographing Ireland for a few years I was thrilled to be invited to exhibit my photographs in New York with the famous American photographer Mary Ellen Mark. Since then I have shared my photographs in galleries and magazines all around the world. For over ten years I’ve been photographing weddings in Ireland. To date, I have photographed over 300 weddings in locations as far apart as Barcelona, Prague and London.I’m an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The WPJA is a professional organisation of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets us apart in the industry is our documentary approach — a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography.
