Drummonds is an RIBA Chartered Practice initially established in January 2010. The practice was founded by David Drummond, an RIBA registered Architect, who relocated from London to Dorset to pursue his interest in traditional vernacular architecture.
David graduated from Glasgow in 1991 and after qualifying as an Architect he went on to work for local practices in Scotland before widening his experience by joining Albert Speer and Partners ASP based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He worked on a variety of industrial and commercial office buildings many of which went on to win several awards.
After spending 10 years in Germany, learning to speak fluent German and gaining experience in a range of projects including the Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank Traders Center and several Media Distribution Centres located within Europe and Asia, he returned to the UK.
