I am an experienced and qualified Counselling Psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Westminster University, a Masters Degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from King's College, and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of East London.
Since 2008 I have worked in various mental health settings. I have experience of working in the private sector, the National Health Service, and the charitable sector - working with adults, families, young people, and children. I offer short-term or long-term individual talking therapy for adults, adolescents, and children with a range of psychological and emotional concerns.
As traditional talking therapies for under 5's and younger children can sometimes be more challenging due to difficulties in expressing their thoughts and emotions through words - I also offer play therapy. In working with children and young people, I also work with parents and families. In addition I also offer supervision and personal therapy for trainee therapists.
