Down to Earth Gardens is based in Long Itchington near Southam in Warwickshire and is run by Mike Gowing. Having held senior positions, Mike left the corporate rat race in 2003 and re-trained in order to be professionally qualified in his favourite pastime: gardening. After three years training, while also working on clients' gardens, Mike now has three horticulture qualifications - Garden Design, National Certificate in Horticulture and Plants & Planting Design.

Mike excelled at college receiving Distinctions as well as Best Overall Student award. Mike is always very proud of all the gardens that he has created or maintained but is especially proud to have been involved in the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show, working in a three man team to construct a medal winning garden in the Small Gardens Category.
