Anne and Peter Robinson started Dorchester Cycles in 1988. Dorset is renowned for its beautiful scenery and historical monuments there is plenty to explore, what better way to do this than on two wheels. The Great Dorset Bike ride is upon us, this has been the Annual Event since founded in 1988, and has a strong following for the surrounding people of Dorset. Its been a great model to get people active and explore the surrounding scenic countryside.

That is the vision we continue to strive towards to get more people out on their bikes enjoying riding and experiencing new things whether that be for a health and fitness or a social vehicle. Since 1988 we have seen many changes, and none more so than the amount of cars that fill the roads, a beneficiary of this is the folding bicycles. Small, light and compact a travelers dream for transportation also cutting emissions in the process.
