The Company under the Directorship of Martin Spiller has been trading since 1989, but coaching has been in the family for 4 generations. His great great grandfather George Alford began operating charabancs in 1925, whilst his parents are still involved in the running of another local coach operator.
Centurion Travel operates a mixed fleet of coaches, allowing it to cater for the needs of all of its customers, ranging from school transport to corporate travel.
Our company operates from a one acre site, on which in addition to our offices, we have a 5 bay maintenance facility to ensure all our 28 vehicles are kept to the highest maintenance standard. This comprises of 2 modern inspections pits with hydraulic equipment to check steering/suspension and 2 rolling roads to check brake efficiency. Our site is also approved for the MOT testing of all cars and vans up to 3500 kgs (Class 7).
