At Dog Happy we know how important your dog is to you. Owned and run by Ron Nicholson, a dog lover and owner, he strives to ensure that your dog is well looked after and well.happy. We offer a range of services from baths (even for the most troublesome pooch), to providing that home from home for your dog whilst you're on holiday. We even offer a doggy taxi service so you can relax whilst your pride and joy relaxes too.
Ron has been a dog owner since his birth and can't remember a time when he hasn't surrounded himself with dogs. In 2008 he left his post at Newcastle City Council to pursue a career in looking after and caring for dogs. After Training to become a professional dog groomer, he noticed that many of the Salons and daycare facilities he worked in did not provide a home-like environment. The Dogs were often kept in designated areas or in cages which resulted in Pets being Unhappy and Stressed.
Ron opened Dog Happy in 2010. A place where dogs could stay in a real home and be given the full care, play time and attention needed to keep them Happy. Ron prides himself on his work and makes sure your Dog feels completely content at all times. All dogs which stay at Dog Happy day care will be walked (at least once per half day) and played with constantly. Making your dog carefree and happy until your return!
